The Muddy Hill Boys

   The Normandy based band started in winter 2014 as a string quartet, deeply rooted in the 1940's and 1950’s style of Bluegrass music, they all joined their love for classic Bluegrass sound with a Rockabilly beat.

   They appreciate up tempo pieces, acapella Gospel and are heavily influenced by Bill Monroe, Flatt & Scruggs, Jimmy Martin, the Stanley Brother and many others... 

  All the string band perform on stage with their acoustic instruments around a single microphone in the pure tradition of Bluegrass music.
