About Benny Lee
Benny Lee (born in 1994) is a french musician based in Norway. He was brought to northern american music around the age of 12, after experiencing for the first time live bluegrass music by a band from is area; The Howlin' Fox.
He bought his first banjo some years later, during a trip to the U.S.A. in 2010.
Benny put up his first Bluegrass band in 2014, The Muddy Hill Boys and toured all over Europe. Along the way he joined some Rockabilly bands on guitar (Hot Slap and Airstream) and also Jazz bands (Simple Jonny's Eassy Jazz Band) on 4 string plectrum banjo.
Now Benny is leading his Western Swing orchestra, The Country Syncopators while still playing traditional Bluegrass with The Bluest Men in Town.
